Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of MySelfKart and the stores we build and operate for you. By applying for or using our service, you agree to them.
1. The service
MySelfKart builds, hosts, and runs a branded online store on your behalf. You remain the owner of your store, your brand, your products, your customers, and your customer data. We provide the technology and operations layer.
2. Eligibility & your account
You must be able to form a legally binding contract and run a genuine business to use MySelfKart. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the products you sell through your store, including their legality, quality, and fulfilment.
3. Fees & payment
- We charge a flat monthly fee for your plan (and any one-time setup fee) as agreed when you sign up. We take 0% commission on your sales.
- Payments from your customers are processed by your chosen payment provider (e.g. Razorpay) and settle directly into your own account. A standard payment-gateway fee (~2%) applies and goes to that provider — not to us.
- Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Plans renew until cancelled.
4. Your responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable laws, including consumer-protection, tax, and data-protection laws.
- Sell only goods you are legally permitted to sell, and handle orders, shipping, returns, and customer support for your store.
- Don't use the service for anything fraudulent, harmful, or infringing on others' rights.
5. Our responsibilities
We'll use reasonable care and skill to build, host, and maintain your store and to keep it available. We may perform maintenance, updates, and improvements, and will aim to minimise disruption.
6. Data & ownership
Your store and customer data are yours. You can export them at any time, and we'll return or delete them on termination, subject to records we must keep by law. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to your brand, content, and products. The MySelfKart platform, software, and underlying technology remain ours. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate your store on your behalf.
8. Cancellation & termination
You may cancel your plan at any time; the service continues until the end of your current billing period. We may suspend or terminate the service for non-payment or for breach of these terms. On termination, you can take your store data with you.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll revise the "last updated" date above and notify active customers of material changes. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any disputes.
